After yesterday’s event, Apple launched the final version of iOS 12.2 update to the general public. Here’s how you can download and install it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod.
WHAT’S NEW IN IOS 12.2?

Unlike its predecessors, iOS 12.2 is a monumental update and brings a lot of new features as well as enhancements and bug fixes.

Its build number is 16E227 and being a final release, iOS 12.2 weighs 2.81GB on almost all compatible devices.
AIRPLAY 2 AND APPLE TV REMOTE

iOS 12.2 adds smart TV compatibility to AirPlay 2. Smart television sets from LG, Sony, Samsung, and Vizio can now interact with Apple devices.

From now on, compatible devices will be able to receive content from an iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and Mac without requiring Apple TV. Furthermore, Samsung users will now get access to the native iTunes store.
HEY SIRI ON AIRPODS 2

With the launch of the AirPods 2 this week, iOS 12.2 (final) enables compatibility with these new headphones. Now, you can also configure “Hey Siri” on them from an iOS device.

The process stays pretty much the same as on the iPhone, where you have to repeat certain phrases in order to help Siri recognize you.

In addition to adding AirPods 2, iOS 12.2 is the version with which the new iPad mini and iPad Air will come as standard to its users.
NEW ANIMAL ANIMOJIS

The stock collection of Animojis – animated emojis – gains new animals, namely – owl, wild boar, giraffe, and shark.

APPLE NEWS REDESIGN AND CANADA ADDITION

Apple News gains support for a new country – Canada. This version also brings a redesigned app and icon.
OTHER ENHANCEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS

Apart from the aforementioned features, Apple has also added quite a few enhancements and bug fixes to the iOS operating system.
ENHANCED MAPS APP

Users can now view the air quality of a specific area.
SAFARI

The browser will now display the “Not secure” message when you visit a website lacking a secure HTTPS certificate asks you to enter credit card details.

Safari now also has an option to control the privacy of websites that want to access accelerometer and gyroscope data for augmented reality features. iOS 12.2 also add intelligent tracking prevention for websites.
SUBSCRIPTIONS

It is now easier than ever to access and manage your subscriptions on the App Store.
VOICE NOTES

Improvements in the quality of voice notes sent in the Messages app. The voice notes will now have better quality as compared to those on older versions.
APPLE TV REMOTE

SHOULD YOU UPGRADE?

Yes, you should definitely upgrade your compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod to iOS 12.2. The latest update is a major step-up from its predecessors and, of course, warrants a prompt update.

How to Use an eSIM to Set Up Your Cellular Plan 2019

The iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and XR have Dual SIM cards, which includes a nano-SIM and an eSIM. The eSIM is a digital SIM that allows your phone to have a second active cell plan from your carrier. Essentially, your phone will have two phone numbers. This is great if you want a business number separate from your personal number or are traveling out of the country and want to get a phone number from a local carrier without swapping out the physical SIM. Typically this feature only works with iOS 12.1 and later with a few carriers in the US. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile currently support this feature with varying restrictions. Check with your carrier to understand how you can best use eSIM with your device. Below, I'll give a general overview of how to set up an eSIM.

Master your iPhone in one minute a day:

Sign up to iPhone Life's Tip of the Day Newsletter and we'll send you a tip each day to save time and get the most out of your iPhone or iPad.
Setting Up a Cellular Plan with eSIM

The nano-SIM in your device will be used for one cellular plan while the other cellular plan will use the eSIM. If your carrier allows, an eSIM can serve as your only cellular plan if you don't have a nano-SIM.

To activate the second cellular plan, you can do one of the following:
Scan the QR Code Your Carrier Provided:

Open Settings and tap Cellular.

Tap Add Cellular Plan.

Scan the QR code that your carrier provided with your iPhone.

To activate the eSIM, you might have to enter a confirmation code, which your carrier should provide.
Manually Enter the Information:

On the screen to scan the QR code, you can select to enter details manually.
Use Your Carrier's App:

From the App Store, download your carrier's app.

Purchase a cellular plan via the app.

Again, the best way to set up an eSIM is to check with your provider if and how they support this feature for iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and XR. Going forward, it's expected more providers and devices will enable eSIM to be used to its full potential.

How to Find iCloud ID by IMEI [Free]

How to Find iCloud ID by IMEI [Free]
A lot of people who purchase used iPhone’s encounter the same problem – they can’t gain access to their iCloud account because they have been locked out. If this is the case, you can contact the original owner of the phone. But what if you no longer have the original owner’s contact information? Well, then you need a special iCloud Login Finder to help you find the original owners full information.

In this article, you will find some iCloud login finder online free you need and an ultimate solution to iCloud locked iPhone.

What is IMEI Number

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a 15-digit unique number assigned to a device that is its identity and this number distinguishes one device from the other. This number has a significant value as with IMEI number you can unlock locked devices, track your lost device and even unlock a second-hand or refurbished phone for which login credentials are unknown.

However, the question remain that is there any reliable iCloud ID Finder by IMEI free?

Part 1. Is There Any iCloud ID Finder by IMEI Free?

Part 2. Unable to Find iCloud ID and Password – Remove it!
Is There Any iCloud ID Finder by IMEI Free?
1. How to find IMEI number of your device

Finding IMEI number for your device depends on various factors such as the model of your device or the make. The most common ways to find the IMEI number of your device are:

On the back of your iPhone

On the sim card tray or

On the inside at the bottom of the phone cover

If you're still unable to locate it then dial *#06# from your phone's dial pad. This is the universal method to find the IMEI number of your device.
2. Can iCloud ID Finder help find iCloud ID?

Apple's iCloud finder service provides users with benefits of accessing their information in case they have lost access to their iCloud account. The service allows retrieving information about the iCloud account by proving that you're the owner of the device. With the help of this tool, you can get information about your phone, account ID, address and secret questions. However, this service does not help in retrieving your iCloud password. Therefore, if you don't have iCloud ID password you cannot unlock iCloud account with iCloud ID finder.
3. Can iCloud ID be retrieved from IMEI number?

Technically, it is impossible to find the iCloud ID from the IMEI number. The IMEI is only the device's identification number and does not store any information about the device. There is no link between the iCloud ID and the IMEI number of the iOS device and IMEI number does not contain or store iCloud ID information.

There are online tools that claim to be iCloud ID finder by IMEI free and claim that they can retrieve the ID however many of these online tools are scams. While it is difficult to find iCloud ID from IMEI number, it still plays a significant role in helping to unlock a locked iOS device.
4. What should yo do to find iCloud ID

As the owner of the device, if you've forgotten the iCloud password, it can be retrieved through the Apple website. The websites have listed instructions to help reset the password. Simply visit your Apple ID account page and click "Forgot password". It will then take you to the options to choose to reset your password which could include secret questions or email verification.

So now you should got the answer about the iCloud ID finder by IMEI free.

Fix ‘iPhone Keeps Turning On and Off’

Fix ‘iPhone Keeps Turning On and Off’

That iPhone keeps turning on and off is one of the most frustrating things you may experience as an iOS user. An iPhone reboot loop can be caused by different reasons, and if you are getting frustrated or worried about this, you really do not have to. If you are encountering this issue presently, you are lucky enough to be reading this article. You can solve this problem through different methods, and we will check out those methods right here, in this article.

Part 1. Why Does iPhone Keep Restarting

When you turn on your iPhone, it displays the Apple logo, and instead of booting the phone normally, the phone goes off and displays the Apple logo all over again. This could be due to many reasons, and it is vital for you to know what the reasons could be.
Failed Update

This is one of the most common reasons why your iPhone keeps turning off and on. If you recently attempted to update your iPhone to the new iOS 12 and the process stopped halfway or the update failed, it could result in the problem of iPhone turning off and back on repeatedly.
Attack from Malware

This hardly happens with a normal iPhone except jailbroken ones. Jailbroken iPhone can install apps from other sources thereby making the device vulnerable to external security threats like malware. If you have an app that you installed from an untrusted source to your iPhone, it can result in iPhone continuously restarting.
Hardware Problem

Hardware problems are rare, but sometimes a malfunctioning component of your phone can make it start turning on and off. For example, the power key on your iPhone may be bad which may cause your iPhone to start going on and off.
Unstable Driver

If you just made some changes on your phone and the driver is malfunctioning, it could result in reboot loop, and you may have to update your phone’s firmware to fix the problem.
Part 2. How to Fix 'iPhone Keeps Turning On and Off’

iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, XS, XSMAX, and XR: Press the volume up button firsthand the volume down button and then press the side button and hold it until the Apple logo shows up.

Twimmage

This app is not a revolution in social networking but it allows you to transform a tweet into an image that you can customize with a solid background or color. All you have to do is type in a user's name, go to the tweet and make the changes you want. It is very easy to use. Finally, you can share your tweet/image on social networks, email it or share it via an instant messaging application. Perfect for posting tweets on Instagram!

Skylanders™ Ring of Heroes

If you are looking for a new RPG game, you've come to the right place. You may have already heard of the game franchise, which started in 2011 and that features creatures called Skylanders - monsters of all forms with special powers. You will find the classic RPG genre tropes (the use of mana, fights, strategy etc.) in an entertaining game with very appealing graphics.

Cam Calculator - Smart Math Solver

First of all, please note that this app has not been officially released yet, so it may contain some bugs. That being said, we have a calculator (but you guessed it) that also has other features. You can, of course, use many parameters, including trigonometry, pi, and others, but you can also use it to help you with equations (with or without a photo). The app can even calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index). You just have to enter your height and weight (the application even gives you a little comment in case you can't interpret the result).

Slack’s Latest Update Adds Dark Mode for iOS and Android

Slack has released a new update for its mobile client on iOS and Android that adds a Dark mode to the app. While the desktop app has not received any such similar update, the Slack team promises that the desktop app will get the dark mode in the future as well.

Slack’s Dark mode on iOS and Android is not exactly true dark since it uses a dark grey background instead of a black one. Nonetheless, this should still lead to a noticeable reduction in power consumption on iPhones featuring an OLED display like the iPhone Xand iPhone XS.

Once you have updated to the latest version of Slack from the App Store, head into Settings and enable the ‘Dark mode’ toggle. The only issue right now is that Slack’s redesigned icon is predominantly white. Perhaps, the company can offer a darker version of the icon for users who have a darker home screen.

With more and more iOS apps gaining Dark mode, there’s a high possibility that we will also see Apple jump on the dark mode bandwagon with iOS 13 later this year. Apart from being easy on the eyes, a dark theme/mode will also help reduce power consumption on iPhones with OLED screens.

The Director of the FBI Says Encryption Needs to Have Limits

Encryption was a hot-key topic not too long ago, especially when it comes to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Apple.

One of Apple’s iPhones was caught in a legal struggle between the two entities. The federal agency wanted unfettered access to the device, even despite Apple’s built-in encryption and security measures. Apple, for its part, wasn’t on board with that idea. Apple did try to help the FBI access that device to the best of its ability after it was ordered to do so. However, it wasn’t willing to go to the full lengths that the FBI wanted at the time.

Part of that comes in the fact that, back then, the FBI wanted keys to backdoors in Apple’s (and other companies out there) software. Apple has been adamant that building a backdoor, which would not only be accessible by Apple and government agencies upon request, would just make it easier for nefarious individuals to access the data that’s supposed to be protected. As a result, Apple has rallied against such plan.

Now, the FBI has decided to change its tune just a bit. According to a report from CNET, the FBI is no longer seeking backdoors into electronics. However, it does want encryption to have a set limit. Basically, the Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, does not think encryption should allow for “unfettered space” for criminals to hide in. Encryption, according to Wray, should not be a means to protect criminals.

“It can’t be a sustainable end state for there to be an entirely unfettered space that’s utterly beyond law enforcement for criminals to hide,” Wray said during a live interview at the RSA Conference, a major cybersecurity gathering in San Francisco.”

Wray said that encryption is still a “provocative subject” even to this day, and did not provide any ideas as to how companies might deal with encryption moving forward, especially as it relates to securing customer data but also allowing access by federal agencies.

The good news here appears to be that the FBI has at least, for now, backed off the idea of implementing backdoors in devices and software. Whether or not that will remain the case is anyone’s guess. Plus, just because the FBI has decided to shift gears doesn’t mean that other federal agencies or law enforcement departments have, too.

iPhone Won't Update to iOS 12? Why not Using iTunes?

iPhone Won't Update to iOS 12? Why not Using iTunes?

It is common knowledge that OTA (Over the Air) updates are usually easier and more convenient to perform, and most iPhone users, therefore, prefer to upgrade using OTA. However, OTA installations often lead to "iPhone won't update to iOS 12" issue, either due to weak Wi-Fi network/internet connection signals during the update, or accessing the Apple servers when they are busy due to a large number of users trying to upgrade at the same time, and so on. Consequently, in such cases, we would recommend updating manually using iTunes. The process is equally easy and fast.

Here are the steps for updating to iOS 12 using iTunes:

Step 1. Open iTunes on your computer and plug your iPhone in using your cable. (Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your PC.)

Step 2. Click the "iPhone" button just at the top of the window to select your device. Then click on "Summary" > "Check for Update."

Step 3. Click "Download and Update" to confirm you want to update your iPhone.

Step 4. Enter your password if asked. Then, your device will be successfully updated to the iOS 12.
#3 Charge Your iPhone Before Updating to iOS 12

It is very important to ensure that your iPhone or iPad has sufficient power (over 50%) charge level before attempting to upgrade. If not, make sure you connect your device into the charger when you want to upgrade to iOS 12. This is because backups take a while, and you don't want your battery to run out of juice during the process.
#4 Factory Reset Your iPhone

Have you tried all the above tips, and you're still having issues updating to iOS 12? Then try doing a factory reset. This will wipe your device completely, so it is very important to do a backup before resetting factory settings.

To reset, go to Settings > General > Reset>Reset All Content and Settings.

Things about Safari Privacy New Features on iOS 12 You Should Know

Protecting one's privacy is a challenge nowadays particularly due to increased number of websites that track user data. Because of the increased privacy concerns, Apple has introduced several Safari privacy features with the introduction of new iOS 12 on WWDC 2018. The new Safari protection features are designed to protect users' privacy as well as enhance browsing experience.

Part 1. What's New in Safari Privacy Protection on iOS 12?

Part 2. The Current Situation: Your Privacy Can Be Easily Tracked on iOS 11/10/9/8

1: When Will Your Privacy Be Tracked?

2: Which Kind of Data Can Track Your Privacy?

Part 3. What Can We Do to Protect Our Privacy before Updating to iOS 12?
What's New in Safari Privacy Protection on iOS 12?

iOS 12 is taking privacy further with the introduction of new, enhanced Safari privacy protection features. Safari will now prevent common widgets and Share buttons on web pages from tracking you. Furthermore, the iconic web browser from Apple will also prevent advertisers from collecting your iDevice's unique characteristics, which means that they cannot identify your device or retarget any ads to you across the web.

Apart from the Share button, Safari browser will also automatically prevent Like media buttons and comment fields from tracking users until they are interacted with. This a powerful new privacy feature that will not only be available on iOS 12, but also on macOS Mojave.

If you interact with Share or Like buttons on any web page, Safari will show you an alert warning you that you may be tracked by performing this action. Apart from this, some new security measures will also be implemented to prevent digital fingerprinting or the use of things such as installed plugins and fonts to help track users even with privacy settings active. New password organizing features will also be included in Safari that will automatically create and store passwords as well as flag reused passwords between websites so they can be changed.
The Current Situation: Your Privacy Can Be Easily Tracked on iOS 11 and Earlier Versions

As mentioned above, protecting your privacy is a challenge nowadays. Many websites use different measures to track your device with iOS 11 and earlier versions quite easily. This can be a huge privacy risk because if that data is misused, the consequences will be severe.
When Will Your Privacy Be Tracked?

Most of the problems occur when you use your web browser to browse a website that contains ads, Like and Share buttons, discussion forums, stock quotes, etc. This is because a lot of the crackdown focuses on third-party software that is delivered to you with the rest of the website when you browse it.
Which Kind of Data Can Track Your Privacy?

Cookies are text files that third-party tools and the website publisher itself can store on your web browser in order to track you. While cookies are handy for different situations such as alerting the website that you are logged in when you revisit it after a day or two, it also provides a way to track your data.

To enhance user privacy, Apple implemented the intelligent tracking protection last year on third-party cookies. This year, the privacy is further improved via the introduction of intelligent tracking protection 2.0.
So, What Can We Do to Protect Our Privacy before Updating to iOS 12?

Deleting your Safari's data is one of the quickest and the most reliable ways to prevent privacy leak. However, deleting your Safari's cache, cookies, etc. from your iDevice via ordinary method is not recommended because the data is not removed permanently. You need to delete such sensitive data permanently. iMyFone Umate Pro is an iDevice data erasing software that will help you do that.

What Can iMyFone Umate Pro Do with Safari's Data?

Here is what iMyFone Umate Pro can do with Safari's data:

Scan all Safari's data including history, cache, cookies, etc. and erase it permanently.

Scan for Safari's browsing history that you have already deleted (which can be easily tracked/recovered) and permanently erase it to protect your privacy.Sponsor ads:

This app has natural media types which have been built into it. On top of these, it has the ability to push layered PSDs to your photoshop on both PC and Mac. The app allows you to add 3D plane grids and preset geometric shapes. All the tools in the app are pencil aware.

Pixelmator

Pixelmator offers drawing tools which are sensitive to your Pencil. It also grants you the ability to tweak colors by applying filters. You also get to use sliders for contrast, brightness, saturation, white balance, and RGB. With the Pencil in play, you can easily do object isolation and touchups.

Paper

This is a great note-taking app. The tool will allow you to use your Apple Pencil to diagram and draw. The tool will allow you to create Venn diagrams, org charts, graphs, duplicates shapes, and more.

Evernote

This is a very rich application. It gives you the ability to record audio while you also sketch ideas for someone, maybe, your client. Although its tools might look simple, they are very effective. The Apple Pencil allows you to create more expressive lines given that it is more pressure sensitive.

LiquidText

LiquidText allows you to annotate and read PDFs, PowerPoint, and Word documents. It supports active reading. What this means is that while you read you get to snip out and highlight sections for future reference. When you pair it with the Apple Pencil, it becomes faster to use. Simply dragging your pencil on it selects the text.

uMake

This app will allow you to create 3D designs. You can easily use your pencil to create 2D designs and then extrude them. You can also use the 3D space. This is an important tool that allows you to get the initial concept down.

Notability

This application will allow you to take notes using your Apple Pencil pretty quickly. You can easily customize the paper style. It allows you to draw figures in a spacious and separate window. It also allows you to add these figures to graphics. Since it supports split view mode, you will have the ability to use it alongside other apps.Sponsor ads:
